Michelin Pilot Power or Pilot Sport
Guys what one should I get. I want a tire that hooks up good and last good 2000/3000 miles give or take. Never bought tires for a sport bike before. Any info would be help full.

but check it...the pilot power just went into some upgrade mode recently...it's not more hardcore than ever!
but know what mang...many times it's not about the stick, it's about the rider and how smooth he/she is...
so i real good and smooth mang will be spanking all day on 207s...or even nobbies!

Just ordered pilot powers today.I have the pilot sport right now. In 50 degree weather I keep breaking the rear loose really bad about it in 1st gear. I hope the pilot powers can help by not breaking loose as much. I will let everyone no what I think about them when I get them and give them a try. Thanks guys for the advice!!

They'll help but if you're a hog with the throttle nothing will...

04CBR600RR.
You might want to try dropping psi in the rear and are you hitting the throttle on cold tires or are you putting some heat in them first? Ive had 207, 208, pilot sports, pows, and now I'm rollin on 218. No doubt the pows are by the best "I've" ridden on. 50 degrees try running 34-36psi. Last summer I was running 40psi on 75-95 degree days. If your that high I'd drop the psi.

hey fret...so did he use the new and improved or the OG PPs?
mah next set, if i don't turn bike to track only for other reasons, will be running PPs...or qualifiers...or even m3s...super toss up, depending on which one gets best wear...if it's all track...then i'll go with DC, for stick and it'll withstand the heat cycles.
