I adjusted my high beam way down and my low beam up a couple turns until they look about the same. Now I ride with both on, looks good too. My.02

When people tell you that you have a light out just say, "Okay, Thanks" That way they don't feel retarded for telling you plus it saves you alot of words and explanation. Unless you get the "know it all" douchebags that tell you, then tell em it's designed that way and flip on the highbeams.

"one girl was even fine as all get out" wtf? pics!!!!!!

btw, i run with highbeams on constantly, unless i'm following someone close in traffic. it's all about safety, and the lowbeam doesn't let you see as much as you need to (the highbeam doesn't either, for that matter)

Exactly. My high beam is on all the time with factory aim levels. I occasionally get flashed but most people realize that I have to make myself as visible as possible. If my annoying little high beam keeps me from gettng run over one time, it has done it's job.

All that sounds good and would be no problem for the bigger city of Fort Worth.

But in the little burg where I do most of my living, one of the fave tickets or excuses for being pulled over and ticketed has for years
been "driving with high beams on"...(forget the official term of the ticket).

It has never happened to me personally, but I know more than a dozen people who have been ticketed for that in Little D.

And that's not a fix it ticket but a moving violation if I am not mistaken.

No, not all cops suck, and even the ones that think the petty things that they enforce, or over-enforce are important, and take that power to do so, as a reason to use their authority as a way of advancing their own egos , don't suck because they are cops.

It's because they sucked as people first, and became a cop/LEO for the wrong reasons.

It's not the badge, it's the poeple who wear it that makes the difference.

If the same people who "suck" at being cops were forced to take a different profession, they would suck at that to.

People would not care though, because they don't have to answer to say, a shoe salesmen, or a carwash jockey.
A mailman can not hand cuff you, haul you off to somewhere you don't want to be. So for example if you suddenly
get a new mailman, and he always leaves half your mal in the rose bushes, you don't say every mail man sucks.
You call the post office and say your new mailman sucks.

Best thing to do, is just be as respectful to all of them as you can if you get pulled over or whatever.

Acting like asses is what really starts the **** flying between something that might turn out to be nothing, into something
that escalates beyond anyone's control.

When you get one that wants confrontation simply because they know you can easily be beaten and pulled into their own game,
then don't give them the satisfaction. Remain neutral. Calm.

Nothing pisses off a bully/******* more than indifference.

Yeah, they would be more pissed if you kicked their *** but you can't do that and not pay a high penalty, most likely with your life,
and at the very least a large chunk of your freedom.

Now, an ******* or someone who sucks that does not have authority, and they are doing you wrong while you know you are in the
right?

Then you kick some ***.

If there are 10 guys that are non-authority and they are screwing you over, you try and kick as much of their *** as possible,
or get out of it, andtake care of it later, hopefully by lawful means.

There are a few things out there though that are inexcusable, and as a man, you just couldn't sit there and take it for any reason.

But I'm not getting into that now.
