get an older F2/F3/F4 before you step up into a fuel injected 118hp race bike.

2007 Honda CBR 600RR very fast and fun. If you are going to buy one make sure to take the MSF course and take a easy on it. Its no joke what this bike can do. It will own you in a heart beat if you don't respect it.

You will get two types of answers to this:

Folks with one or two years of street riding experience telling you that a 600cc sportbike is ok and safe for a beginner.
Folks with some serious road riding experience that will advise against it.

I fit into the second camp.

Do as you will, but consider the experience of the advice giver before you take it.
