Default looking at 2005 CBR600

bike looks real nice. but has 33,000 miles on it. it has the warranty on engine/trans until 2010. but still, that a lot of miles. what is this bike worth.

heres what is has done to it:

blue halo's inserted into the headlights, carbon fiber 'look' mirrors, carbon fiber 'look' clutch and brake levers, puig windscreen, carbon fiber 'look' seat covers with flame design, passenger seat cowl, integrated taillights, undertail with turn signals, flush mount front signals, real carbon fiber two brothers exhaust, vortex sprockets, RK 520 racing chain, michelin pilot power ct tires, new brakes, new grips, crome bar ends, blue swingarm spools

few questions:

what is the RK racing chain? just stronger?
should i be worried if the motor has 33,000 miles? even if it was well maintained?
factory wheel or flywheel Horsepower?
factory quartermile?
engine/trans durability?

heres a pic:

more pics!! sweet lookin bike, the only thing i can say is that those carbon look things are not very good quality, they never are (o at least to my knowledge) the chain is just a 520 instead of 525 length chain, it has to do with the sprockets.... is it toothed down? meaning that there would be less teeth in the front and more teeth in the back, or variations, (stock is 16/42) normally a 520 is put on when you sprocket. it seems like a nice bike, but being an 05 you have no idea what kind of miles those 33k were on the bike... he could have been ridin this thing HARD. thats alot of miles but i would say get it looked at if you dont know anyting about engines and see what a pro says. factor hp to the rear i think (think) is 135. quarter is 10.5 or lower 10's. these engines can last a long time but if you dont know exactly what its been thru you never knjow when it could go bad on you or need alot of maintainance.

how much he want?

33,000 is nothing. we have a member that has 137,000 on an F4i. As long as this bike was loved, which it sounds like, she should be just fine.

It all comes down to price. How much?

33,000 miles is a LOT of miles for a sportbike, but as Thirdgen proves, these bikes will run forever if you properly maintain them (he has over 130,000 miles on his F4i, which are almost identical motors)

Ask if he has all the maintenance records and compare those to the owners manual's timeline. MAKE SURE he has had the valve clearance adjustment done around 16,000 miles, which I believe is one of the main things other than oil changes and clutch adjustments to have done according to the manual.

well, im trading my car for it. so there is no real asking price.

im well versed in mechanics. but im kinda new to bikes.

and i have another offer for an 06 600RR. with only 4200 miles. red and black. looks like it came off the show room floor other than an exhaust.

kinda stuck on what to go for...

the car is a 1988 Mazda rx7 10th anniversery with A LOT of work done to it. i was trying to sell it for 6500. he also offered me about 1500 cash on top to make up for the high miles. sounds like a good deal to me.
