Looked at a RR yesterday...(help)
2004 CBRR 64XX miles $6000
Some things I noticed:
1) Needs rear tire.
2) Front tire? I dont know, but when I leaned to turn the handlebars were hard to keep strait. I noticed that the middle portion of the front tire was risen. Is this what made the handelbars turn as I leaned?
3) Missing front turn signals and rear signals with licence plate bracket...How much would that stuff be?
4)When blipping the throttle under load there was a squeeking noise. Is the squeeking ormal?
5)It warmed to 226* Is that temp normal?
6) The linkage from the shifter to the tranny seemed to pivot a lot. Normal?

Im really upset that everyone knows where the good deals are and I dont. Everyone is selling for MSRP+ here in St. Louis. What the hell?
If you have a CASH budget of $7800 you should be able to get a new bike, bone stock. Prlly an F4 maybe an RR if you can find an 05 sitting on a dealer floor. My bike heats up to 220-224 anytime I ride for a bit then sit at a light. The fan kicks on at 219. Sounds like that bike has some issues and I would be weary. If there is that much you can see....what is wrong that you cant see. My advice, shop around and you should be able to get a new one. Good luck.
Yeah, I would look elsewhere. Thats a good price if their weren't so many problems with it. I would keep looking. I wouldn't recomend getting a brand new one unless you are okay with strapping yourself as far as cash. Keep looking for an 03-04 and you'll find a good one for 5-6k with low miles.
man, where were you at when I bought my...you don't even want to know how much I spend on my.
