ummm, for one all gas, no matter where you get it, has water in it. two, why not turn your premium into super premium, which burns cooler and cleaner as well. how bout an oil additive that can reduce temps by 40-60 degrees. i dont care who ya are this IS gonna help your clutch and shifting engage better, as long as prolong thier life. yeah your average guy might not need all this, but why diss on something you have no actual facts or experience with? i come from a race family that has seen these differences first hand.
my brother is the michigan distributer of this stuff called k100 or k100 of michigan, pretty amazing stuff in the dirt and diesel scene, thought i might bring it to the sportbike scene. hes got racing customers that swear by this stuff.

I no likey the additives. They leave crap in your system. The only oil additive I've used has been Lucas Oil Stabilizer (IN MY CAR, NOT MY BIKE!) and it worked great. My car was aproaching 200,000 miles, and it cleaned up some sputtering and hesitation - now it runs like new (got to love the 1994 Dodge Shadows, lol.) BUT DON'T USE LUCAS IN YOUR BIKE. NO.NO.NO.NO.NO.NO....COUGH.....NO.NO.NO. (allergies)

As you can see in the table above, synthetics offer real advantages when your engine is very cold and when your engine is very hot. The viscosity numbers shown above are at 212°F. At 32°F the PAOs and Diesters have about one third the viscosity of the mineral oils, meaning they pump through your engine three times better. Since about 75% of all the wear on your engine happens in the first five minutes after you start it up, synthetics offer an advantage in significantly reducing engine wear.
