wait, it depends on how much the wheels are from this "guy"? Also, are there any rims out there that are lighter than stock and are not carbon fiber? cracking is a big deal for me, i wouldnt want to spend that much on rims and then have them brake over a bit of sun light, you know.

the wheels i am getting are carrozzeria and they are much lighter than stock. they are brand new in the box. for 1k. they are 1700 if ordered. i only have to get the wheels machined for 100 bucks. so for 1100 im getting the same thing as if id spent 1700. almost every aftermarket wheel you find will be lighter than stock. except for chrome stuff.

Well, is there a lighter wheel out there that wont *crack* as tomp said. I live in Florida so heat is a factor for me. I mean, if i get lighter wheels and they are carbon fiber, i dont want them cracking on me as i am riding and then *BIG BOO BOO time* I want light durable wheels. any help on that?
