they are a lil over 1k though.

 

The lighter rims do make a big difference. I was surprised at the difference of acceleration out of the apex of a turn.

 

Yeah carbon fiber wheels are bad ***. A buddy of mine has them on his drag bike. If you let them sit in the sun for long periods of time they are known to start cracking. So probably not the ideal thing for most street riders.
