This is how I did mine. I ordered "Larry's Fender Eliminator" from eBay for $30 bucks (pretty much a sweet little aluminum bracket and a worm gear clamp.) Then I took a hack-saw to my stock fender to create the rear fender you see below. I called it a "Raccoon tail" (long story, don't ask 
).
