l-4 vs v-twin or v-4
Now don't get me wrong i love my RR, I just want to know what everyone thinks of the power difference in the in-line 4's compaired to a v-twin. i want to own more than one bike and i am debating on what my next one will be. i have been really looking at the honda interceptor. i would imagine the v-tec v-4 has a bit of both horse power and torque. any suggestions or comments? Just a totally different feel in my opinion. I owned 2 1984 V65 Sabre 1100's, and while they were honda's first 10-second quarter-mile bike, the power delivery of a v-twin is like night and day. After riding both, i'm partial to my 600RR. Best advice i can give you is to go to the dealer and ride an RC51...whole different world.

finaly... i got to ride a few different bikes. one of my friends bought a 99 vfr800I and my other friend i work with bought a RC51, after riding about 30 miles on both of them i like the comfort on long rides of the vfr and the rc51 has just rediculous torque. one of these bikes will be my next (keeping the RR of course) which one should i get. I ride 2 up quite a bit with my wife. but i enjoy the power when im riding alone.

Super limited-production bike made to win Superbike races in the early 90's. You can find them occassionally, but they are expensive (and damn near impossible to find parts for), especially if you can find one in decent shape.
Honda also produced a 400cc version, the NC30, which was super-light and pretty decently powered for its engine size. Those are cheaper, but also hard to find.
