Default K&N Air filter

Does anyone have a 04 cbr 600rr that they put a k&n air filter on? Does it make a difference? Is it worth putting one on?

The filter might give you 0.1hp but the K&N sticker gives 15-20hp.

and.....another......"NO".

A full exhaust is not worth it either in my opinion. You gain a mere 3 HP...shave a decent 20 Lbs but you generally pay $900 +.

Obviously, if you are doing some competitive racing thenyou would have the full works. I am assuming that you would be in that group as you have a "track" bike listed on your profile. I would imagine that you also have more modifications over and above a full exhaust and map as well....right?

My point ispertaining to street riders of course.

well it wont make a diff if you dont tune your bike to add more fuel to go wtih the more air youll be sending it. i mean it would be worth it so you can clean it once it gets dirty so yah can reuse it.
