Just picked up my RR

First bike since I owned a 1994 F2 in 1996 when I was 18. This bike is an '07; I traveled from Tulsa, OK to Evansville, IN last week to pick it up. It had 985 miles when I bought it, but I've tacked on almost 200 since then. Hoping to pick up some useful info...see ya around.

Hey we have the exact same bike, but you have about 1500 less miles than I do and I thought my miles were low when I picked it up. Do you mind if I asked what you paid for it. Oh and how do you like the shorty levers?

I paid $5900 for the bike. Your miles ARE very low, this guy just didn't ride this bike at all. Who buys a brand new bike in late 2006, and only rides it 220 miles a year for the 4 years they own it? I gave it its first oil change, and the bike had tons of cob webs in the wheels and swingarm area, so I don't think he rode it last year.
I love the shorty levers; I got them from TST Industries. If you order their integrated taillight, you can add the shorty levers to your order for $60. The fit and finish is awesome; they are high quality levers and weigh nothing You don't notice them being any shorter, or at least I didn't. I only use two fingers (index & middle) 90% of the time like most people I think. I'm waiting until next week to put on my integrated taillight...I just bought a Micron pipe, and plan on installing both parts at the same time.
