Exclamation Just picked up 2009 600RR ABS... now what?

Am a proud new owner of a 2009 600RR ABS - purchased with a 1000 miles. This is my third bike and seems like a keeper

At the moment, I have limited funds for mods so I was looking to solicit cheap "must-do" modifications that won't cost a fortune - any ideas?

Thus far, I've purchased adjustable levers and am specifically looking for a plug-n-play taillight modulator / brake light flasher.. I'm all about visibility

Thanks!

IMO there are no "must-do" mods. The bike came from the factory in perfect working order. The mods that you do are going to pertain to your personal preference. Do you like the factory clear windscreen. If not get a smoked one and maybe a DB at that. Do you like the factory exhaust? If not get a slip on. Do you like the factory turn signals? I personally don't mind them but if you do the get flush mounts. Do you like the factory brake light? Once again I am good with it but a lot of people don't like it and if your one of those people then get an IT. See what I am getting at here. There is not a must do mod that just has to be done no matter what. It is all personal preference on looks and how deep your wallet is. Nice pic up BTW. Now lets see some pics!

Now? Well now you get out and Ride it!

As for Mods once funds allow I would

Exhaust
Fender Elem / Integrated Tail
HIDs
Flush Mounts
Frame Sliders

In that order. Personally.

I would say:

Frame Sliders are a must
swing arm spools and stand if you don't have them already
gas for riding
tires
then after that its all up to you:

IT
flush mounts
fender eliminator
dubble bubble wind screen
exhaust
some HID's
oh and ...

Must do mods? More mileage on the odometer, imo.

Thanks all for the ideas; original post updated with pics!

I'm looking for cosmetic / safety mods first before upgrading performance - anyone know of a plug and play taillight modulator / brake light flasher?

Thanks man, agreed.. I have some ideas of my own but most are longer-term big ticket items..and since I'm low on my toy budget after dropping $ for the bike, I'm poking around for smaller mod suggestions I may not already be aware of
