im trading up
To all you 07 owners out there, and to everyone in general i guess,
I was on the autotrader last night and i came across a mint 07 600rr black and red with 1200km on it from a dealership, i called about it this morning and got a good deal on it as well as a great price for my trade in. i put 500 dollars down on my credit card for him to hold it and im going to drive down tomorrow (4 hours away) to take a look at it and probably pick it up. this all happend so fast!!!!
anyways i currently have an 03 600rr i bought it in the fall last year so ive only ridden it since may 1st (damn canadian winters) and im wondering is this a good idea??? is the 07 that much better then the 03's??? i have sat on an 07 in the honda show room and it seems so much lighter and smaller then my 03, but ive never ridden one. Let me know if this is a smart thing to do!!!
thanks guys/girls

RE: im trading up
Why would it bea bad move my friend?
The '07 is an amazing machine and will be easier to ride then the '03. Just be careful because they both have enough power to put you in a bad situation. Buy protection for both the bike(frame sliders, swing arm spools, bar ends, fork sliders) and yourself.
If you are financing the bike make sure you carry full coverage w/gap.
