as some of you may rember, my bike got stolen a while back, it was recovered about 3 months later all banged up but the insurance already seteled with me, (paid me good too), any way i got my eyes on a 04 cbr1000rr 6500 miles riden by a 40+ year old dude, yosh rs-5 slip on, signals, f/e kit, pristeen condition 7300$ what you guys think?

 

If he's the original and only owner of the bike, I think I'd jump on it for a flat $7k. Makes me drool....

 

i agree, try to bargain with him down to $7k without taking off any of the installed parts. money talks when it is flashed in someones face. haggle with the price but dont continually threaten to walk away. typically, aftermarket parts lower the value of the bike if he doesnt have all the stock parts or the mods make it impossible to revert back to OEM. maybe with the money you save you could spend it on spelling or grammar lessons j/k! have fun and be safe.

 

HOw much did you get paid? if you have enogh why dont you just buy a newer bike with less miles on it...i got mine for 7k and its an 04 RR with 995 miles. just look around you'll find better deals...l

Yeah it's agood deal at 7 G's. Offer him 7 and act like you're not that interested in it. If you look too interested and drool he's going to stand firm.
