i have an 08 honda cbr600rr .... does anyone have a cle for a website where i can find a book on the wiring diagram?? all the wires are reconnected back to the colors and places the should be but my bike wont start nor will my headlights come on...


please if anyone knows of such website please let me know ill grate appreciate it

First step would be to check the fuse box under the seat, chances are you just blew one, they are fairly sensitive. If you really think its a wiring issue they you need to get your hands on a service manual, as it has the whole wiring diagram for the bike in the back of it. I have the location of one online, but I am at work, so your gonna have to wait on it if that is what you need.

 

i checked the fuses and here was none blown ... see the thing is that my fiance got me the bike in may when i was just learning how to ride...i kinda banged the bike up by 12oclocking it ....so we got ahold of a 07 cbr 600 and thought we`d swap the parts off the 07 onto my 08 including all the plastics....i got everything back together from him having it down to just the frame and motor.he had to leave town for a few months for business and i need to get the bike done.


when i put the key on the gauges all light up and turn on though the nuetral light stays on no matter which gear he bike goes in as well as the turn signals stay lite up (but not blinking) on the gauges console... and like i said the headlights wont turn on but the tail light does...that why i was thinking i may need a wiring diagram.

 

Aaa... yeah I would say you need a wiring diagram. I am surprised you got the bike back together without a service manual in the first place.

 

yeah so am i ... i guess hanging around my fiance and his friends and watching them has payed off lol...well kinda if i could just get threw this lil problem witht he wiring then ill be fine =)
