it's all good knight...we can say all we want to say and they defend themselves all they want...
fact is...if you already have your mind made up...don't be posting in here asking for opinions...cause it's wasting bandwidth...our new default answer will be...screw the 600...go for a hayabusa or a 1krr....
another fact...all else remaining equal, given same riding years...you will never reach the potential as someone who would start properly...you will just be a slowA$$ on a nice new bike...and i will laugh everytime i lap you...oh wait...we won't be riding in the same group unless i sandbag it.

Hmm I guess I'm crazy. For some reason I thought buying a CBR600RR and slowly learning on a CBR600RR would help me learn to ride a CBR600RR. But like I said I'm a newb so what do I know? However you guys make it sound like because it's a top of the line sports bike that goes fast you always have to be going fast. Why can't a person just take it slow and learn how and actual CBR600RR handles instead of some 250? I agree the 250 is the smarter way to go and I'd advise anyone who has the money and the patience it takes to find one buy one learn on one and then try and sell one to do it. But for me I've been riding my CBR600RR for a year now and I finally feel like we're beginingunderstand each other. However you would kick my *** on a track right now because Iknow I'm notreadytounleash the full extent of what my bike can do. But I'm going to keep practicing on my 600 and who knows maybe someday I'll even know HOW to ride it.
