RE: I need a BikE! CBR600RR
Listen up. This old F**k started out long ago. My first bike was a Kenny Roberts Special. The Yamaha RZ 350 2 stroke.
That bike was scarry.Change lanes? Sure... on one tire. go fast thru a turn? Sure... on one tire. When I finaly stepped up from that bike I thought I was the man. I purchased a brand new Susuki 750, in 1986. Once again It scarred the **** out of me. The first time I cranked back the throttle and the world came to a standstill. then woosh, warp 9. I am currently riding a 1987 yahmaha fzr 1ltr. I know its old it has dynoed 119 and handles like a stump, but ITS CHEEP TO REPAIR. Hello, in the twisty's its not the bike its the rider. I Will purchase a new bike this year. Yes I am definately considering the 600RR. I want to fling through the corners dragg my knee till my pucks melt off. the older i get the more I want to ride technically with perfect form. I wish I could still get a decent powered 250 with the new technology. Why did Honda stop making decent 250's? Anyone know where I can find a street legal NSR?
Anyway not to get off subject. I have attended many schools, raced in AMA and there is one truth that no one can escape from. You will go down. Someday you will go down. At that time regardless of if you drop the bike in the parking lot or dump it avoiding a larger accident, Can you afford to REPAIR IT?
