Ok I am new to this forum but have recently defected from gsxr.com since I have been bit by the 600rr bug. I found one at the local dealer brand new on the showroom floor and he still wants 9300 for it. Am I nuts or is that way too high? What kind of offer should I give him?

 

You can find it cheaper....offer him 8300. You'll know wether he's ready to negotiate pretty quick...and bargain from there. Full retail is not reasonable for a bike that will be two years old in a few months. He will come down....part of the problem is timing..everyone buys in the spring and summer

That's priced WAY too high. They were selling leftover 07 600RR's back in May at my dealer for $7500. I bought mine OTD for $8300.

That's crazy 9300 for an 07, and it's almost 09 now. I got mine on feb for 7800, OTD is 8200 something. Just haggle with them, they're not gonna sell it quick anyway to anybody.
