I have a 2003 600rr, i paid $2600 for it, and it needs motor work (in progress) it has a full yosh exhaust and aftermarket gearing. I dunno what you guys are getting top end and my 600rr isnt done yet but i have had my gsxr600 to 177mph (speedo indicated with stock gears of course) so if his bike is modded its possible it would indicate 180.

ORIGINAL: charbel

well. not sure what kind of bike you guys have. this is not my first bike. i had like 5 bikes before when i was oversease. i had my last one 1100 gsxrr. that was an awsome bike.
anyway, for sure my bike do 180 . i did 185 in it more then one time. i am not a new rider.

the original price on the bike was 9000. and it was 400 shipping and 400 to assemble it.. and 1500 for the carbon fiber exaust and 500 for the rear light. i got 2 jakets and 2 helmet and one glove and all this bull**** talk he said it is done to the motor. that when the price end up 12900. i knew it might be a little expensive. but i had to get it.

Ok, this is the last time I'll stop by this thread. You paid $1,500.00 for a $495.00 exhaust????If you are doing 180-185mph on your 600rr then you probably have -1/+2 sprocket setup which really means you're only doing 150ish when it comes through RADAR .

Sell the bike and take the loss to save your life. And do a little research before buying another thing.

Did you get a free jar of vasoline when they bent you over and f***ed you up the ***?? I'm surprised you can even sit on the bike as hard as you got it.

And you didn't got 185 on your bike...your speedometer READ 185 MAYBE, but I guarentee that's not what you were really doing.

And I don't care how many bikes you've had, cause you obviously know nothing about them or how much they cost. What's taken place in this thread is the equivalent of me claiming to have gotten a 140% on a test that I studied for the day after the test was given. Moral...do your homework ahead of time and don't make bullsh*t claims that real bikers can smell a mile away.

sorry for the double post but on the subject of the forum WOW. The day I get my bike to 180 I'll let you know because I will have had to add wings and a jet thruster. I paid 5600 for my 2004 rr with 2400 miles on it, a sprocket, fender eliminator kit, 2 Joe Rocket jackets, and 2 matching helmets.

ok ok, i can believe that you paid all that much for the bike.. im NOT saying your lying about that. but IF thats true.. you deff never riden a bike before. if you had it was your buddies 1100 gixxer and you still didnt know what you were doing.
you sound like every guy i have ever met that knows jack **** about bikes and asks me what i think about suzukis cuz they want to start biking.

lets see.. 1500 for a 500 dollar exhaust.............1000 over
500 for a 80 dollar light....................420 over
complete a$$ raping........................priceless

you dont ride. your a joke. go do 180 on a machine that can ONLY go 164!!! (btw guys, indicators will say more, but these bikes max on radar at 164.)

ps, my bike is modded quite a bit, the only thing you could have over me is an external jet engine. i could never go 180

Directed @ no one in particular;
Kindly chill a bit on the bashing. It's not unusual for new members to fudge numbers to try and fit in but at least give new members a chance to save face or explain before jumping on'em. It's been stated the price was exorbitant and that 180 true speed is unlikely, no need to pile on .. we'd like to welcome and keep new members not run'em off.

Thanks for your cooperation

like i said i never lie. i don't have nothing to gain if i lied to you or not. in the end i am here just to get some help about my bike and meet new ppl . not to have bunch of ppl make fun of me because they never look further then there nose.
yes bike for sure read 187. i did it again today on my way to work. more then ones. it might not be doing that like some ppl are saying. but that what my speed is reading.
and yes, i had 5 bikes before. that was my answer to who ever said that i shouldnt get a 600 as my first bike.
my problem was that i am new in this country and all my bikes i had oversease. i got riped maybe in this bike. but i love it for sure. more then suzuki.
