Default how many miles?

i know it seems like a dumb question. but im currently looking at buying an 05 600rr for about 5k, 25k miles, and its been serviced religiously. it hasnt been driven hard, but is driven daily.

i know theres "guidelines" for pricing on cars with varied miles, how its driven, etc...but im not sure how bikes go.

any input? thanks guys.

Well, that is alot of miles for the bike, but if its been serviced religously like you said it "should" be fine. There is a member on here has over 100k miles on his bike.

It's a Honda. If it's been taken care of it has a LOT of life left in it.

I think that price is a too high for that many miles. I just bought a 03 with 9600 miles for $2800. I know I got a good deal. I'd look around first before I bought it.

$5k and 25k miles is a lot. Only say that because of the miles. Anybody can say the upkeep has been done, ask for documentation. You can do better than that. It's close to the winter time, lots of deals are around.

I paid $4500 for my bike last Jan w/ 8k and it had $2,000 in aftermarket parts on it... so I think you can do better as well. If this guy won't come down on the price, keep looking. Winter is coming and bike prices should drop drastically...especially with the economy bad.

25K isnt shyt for mileage. thats less than 10k a year. any less n its not riden enough. Some of you need to ride your bikes more n stop just staring at it.

just give you a bargining chip is all. 5k for a 05 is a fair price. But if you can get em down to $4500 or so would be nice too but you wouldnt be gonna wrong paying 5k for it.
