i just bought a 06 cbr600rr and i was wondering how fast the bike will go up to,what is the top speed?,i cant take it up that far yet so ill appreciate the input

 

I've seen 167 but the speedo on these bikes are off about 10 to 15 % so it probly was 140 mph or so.

 

More than fas enugh to get you KILLED if you are not a mature and responsible rider.

 

it can go atleast 165mph

one of the motorcycle magazines did a 600cc shootout for 06, and the honda ran 162 in their top speed run. i guess i could try to verify this with the gps, but i wont... lol

 

had mine at 145mph the other day with more to go!!!!

 

Its fast, not liter bike fast but damn fast. Anyway you take this for what you want but it sounds like you know nothing about a motorcycle. The have 2 wheels and a stupid control which is held in the right hand, most dumbasses like to see what the stupid control does if held WOT for to long. Do us all a favor and dont worry about the top speed of your CBR and buy some gear and ride like a responsible rider. CBRS are the prettiest bike out there so keep it that way. Like i said take it how you want but it is some good info, and if i stepped on some toes then ill do it again.
