Default How do you pull decals?

Someone pointed out to me that someone on this forum pulled their decals off their bike. How is that done? Do you have to repaint afterwards?

actually pretty easy....just takes a little time and use a blow drier for the heat and makesa a lot easier

the only one you might consider not doing is on the tank...it is clear coated in...I did it anyway, but can tell up close

even if don't do....definitely pull all decalls off swing arm and stuff like that

later bro

use a heat gun or a high power blow dryer. keep blowing until sticker is completely peeled.
I used a heat gun for my old gsxr -- may want to use gloves, it gets pretty hot.

Was it hard to get the decal on the tank off?? I don't like the idea that you can tell it was there since it is clear coated on. I really like the look with no decals but I am kinda scared of trying it. Don't want to mess up the bike. Any suggestions?? What if any problems did you run into?

I don't know of any way to get the tank decals off and have it unnoticeable unless you sand and re-clear coat it.

seriously, really easy....and just leave the tank decals on since want showroom finish....all the rest were simple

just don't use a razorblade or anything steel...if need to use somthing to help with areas that aren't coming off easy...make sure plastic and no problems on clear coat then

post some pics once done
