Default Hotbodies FE for my 2007

As some of you may remember the last FE I bought for my bike I didn't really care for. As I was doing more research I came across the Hotbodies fender eliminator and thought this would do the trick. I bought direct form Hotbodies because I had a 15% discount so it made it cheaper than buying it through Ebay even with the shipping. Once I bought it they sent me a confirmation email. a few days later I get a invoice and noticed my CC was charged for $5 more than what they said it was going to be. I called them and the first guy I talked to didn't really know much. I even sent him a copy of the confirmation I received saying it was going to be cheaper. He said he will talk to someone else and get back to me. 24 hours went by and still no word so I called back and talked to the sales manager and he said he would take care of it. About 5 days later the credit showed up so that is good. Now onto the quality of it. The quality of the piece itself is good however you'd think Hotbodies never even tested this on a 2007 CBR 600RR. I had to make a couple of the holes bigger and cut off some plastic to make it all work. Also no directions came with it so it takes some common sense and mechanical ability to figure it all out. Once I finally figured out how everything goes and opened up the holes and removed some plastic it turned out good. Below are some pics.

PS the reason I didn't go with a IT setup like I will do someday is money is tight right now with me buying a engagement ring and all

those dont look too bad.
i chopped mine and left just enough to bolt the plate back on, had to drill new holes in the licence plate and moved the tail light back in some with a little modification to the bracket.

I think it looks a lot better too. The reason why I went with this one instead of modifying the OEM one is I wanted a direct replacement with no modification needed. Looking back I should probably should have modified the OEM one because I had to mod this one to get it to work.
