RE: Home made rear seat cowl

Here is the listing I'm having on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...74474&rd=1

I believe that it looks way better than stock and more racy looking, not because I made it but that's what people say,
also I've made it so that it runs flush with the tail with no large gaps between.

if you need to ask anything pm or email me!

I like that cowl nik 600 thats just about what Im looking for, I think I want to try to make my own like u did, sounds like it might be fun and it always gives u a sense of accomplishment to do something like that. I make pieces foe my trucks now and again. Out of curiosity where do u get the seats that u build off of.

RE: Home made rear seat cowl

Thanks guys, before making the seat cowl I draw many designs and ended up to this design,It was a pain in the *ss to finish it but it's always worth making something on your own and secondly I think it's one of a kind and looks way better than oem.

2wheelsRbetter: You can buy a used passenger seat from ebay, rip the cloth and use the underside if you're going to make one or two cowls. However because I decided to sell these and wanted to reduce the weight of the cowl (approx 600grams) I designed my own latches to clip on the tail.

Justin I'll pm you

Just get metal or plastic latches and modify them to become similar to the latches there are under the passenger seat.
