Default Hey look

Happy Saturdy all... Just wanted to post a picture of my winscreen that i just finished painting... got tired of waiting for my sportec so i decided to paint my oe... Got the idea from a kat on this site, sorry bro cant remember your screen name but thanks.... i used krylon fusion satin black... looks good imo will work till i get my new one.. opinions always welcome.... Ride safe all

The only problem I see is that you can't full-tuck and see out of it. (which few people do, but I enjoy it.) It does look good though.

I agree with both points. I have a smoked screen and do very rarely look through it when riding (usually when caught in the rain or on a LONG open stretch of road at higher speeds. Good job. Hope your Sportec looks as good.

Where did you get the paint from like a shop or hardware store or what? I just don't wanna drive all around town looking for it so a start would help thanx

walmart krylon fusion satin black,, use blue paiters tape to tape off the front of the windscreen...

y lude did you paint the inide of the windscreen or the outside? in thinking the inseid would be better so it will still have the shine to it when im done. did it turn out good, cause in the pic it looks good. would you recomend doing it.

I sprayed the inside of the screen....be carefull when u reinstall not to scratch it in the brake resevoir... Good luck

cool thanks man i actually bought the paint lastnight. When i get my bike back from the 600 mile tune up( a complete rip off) im going to do it thanks again FREAK

Can we get some close up pictures from both sides? I wonder if it looks "factory clean/quality" or if it looks painted. If it looks factory, I might do it also.
