I have a blue 600RR as well...I love mine...welcome to the show.

No matter what you do, try to not post pics of wheelies and not wearing gear...some members tend to rag on you for that, and for logical reasons. I, myself, have lost people close to me (including a brother who was 18 when I was 12) to bike accidents, and had he been wearing a helmet, he'd probably still be here.

This forum is about doing the right thing on a bike, and if you ride with your own rules, then just don't broadcast it to everyone else...but enjoy this place, there are lots of good people here.

man. im so sorry to hear about you're loss. that sucks!! i have too lost 3 VERY close friends on bikes. one just recently actually. in memory and respect for them i got tattoo'd down my arms. LIVE TO RIDE (from right elbow to right wrist) and RIDE TILL DIE (from left wrist to left elbow)

everyone can hate on me for riding in a shirt and shorts. i dont do it often.. but so what? its my problem if i come off right? hate on me for speaking my mind but u cant sit there and say you've never riden a bike in a shirt and/or shorts before... cos we have all done it an one point or another.

apart from that... thanks to everyone for ur warm welcome

I hope by "you" you weren't speaking to me directly, because I'm just giving you advice to have your stay here as pleasant as can be and nothing I wrote construed me hating on you. And your gonna get hated on by other members if you post pics of yourself doing wheelies with shorts on. At least your wearing a helmet, but whatever. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, you can do what you want. If you want road rash so bad, by all means...go right ahead.

And honestly, I can say that I have NEVER ridden with shorts on. T-shirt, yes, when it's 100 degrees out and I have a set destination. And I ALWAYS wear my helmet, no matter what, due to what I have said before.

But yeah, welcome to CBRF!! And thank you for your condolences...

bro it wasnt directed at "YOU" directly. but to anyone who reads it...

anyone who gets on a bike knows the risks and what can happen once u commence ur ride. so its the riders decsion to choose there attire.

obviously america's riders and aussie's dont have the same view..

flame me if u want.. i dont care, i know the risks in riding with shorts and a shirt..
