Hey guys....need some expert advice here lol. Had an offer of $3500 for my '03 600RR today. Wasn't lookin to sell really, but my bike does have 17,000 miles and has been down 3 times....so needless to say it looks good, but has it's faults.

So, i've decided that the pearl 600RR is the bike for me. There just happens to be one here in enterprise, 603 miles, $7100. Has two marks where the previous owner had it strapped down in the truck and the straps were resting on the top of the upper side fairings, but nothing bad. My only worry is that there's a decent amount of balled rubber on the underside of the tail. However, the burnout spot on the tire looks like it was the last thing done and wasn't even rode afterwards, so i'm thinkin he did the "i'm tradin it in, might as well get me a burnout" stunt.

How do you guys feel about that either price? Also, 600 miles seems a little early to me to be burnin out, but i'm not sure if it's anything to stress over. I guess i'm just lookin for some opinions.

i guess how bad the your laydowns have been i would push for $4k if you can and what year is the pearl 600rr that you want if its an 06-07 it might be worth $7100

 

yeah if you dont have a baby or a wife trying to make you sell it - dont get lowballed. if the laydowns werent so bad, i bet you could get $4K out of it - just remember, they are offering you - you didnt say "im selling this OBO"..

 

Two of my laydowns weren't that bad...but the third resulted in a new subframe, headlight, dented tank and a new set of plastics. So i don't think i'm gettin lowballed at $3600.

Just got the fiance to agree to buyin a brand new CBR...HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!
