I got tired of the one light too but now mine work like a car does...high beam low beam with both lights workin. I used dual fialment bulbs that rate at 50w for the low side and 55w for the high side..cuz your stock bulbs are 55w so u dont want to go any higher in my opinion cuz if you got 55w-60w its like runnin high beams on all the time anyway but then u have super bright high beams...anyway i had to modify the base of the bulb to fit in my stock head light housing then ran my wires using 2 jumper wires from light to light to get both headlights to work on either beam.. All in all i had about 2 hours in the project and no more people say HEY U HAVE A HEADLIGHT OUT! uggg Goodluck

^god I hate that. I've had so many ppl thought my bike had a broken headlight. Then again, the bike had no plastics and looked like a rat bike. I got pulled once by a cop because of it. I didn't have registration for the bike and I was using the F2 tags. But cbr600 is a cbr600... hehe good thing he didn't know anything bout bikes. I do have a title for the rr.

I just ride with the high beam on all the time. The bulbs are exactly the same. The high beam is just angled differently and has more reflectors in the housing.

I've heard you can turn the angle of the low beam up, and the high beam down, then just run highs on so that they're both on, but not blinding everyone. There's supposedly a screw behind your headlight to do this. Does anyone know where it is exactly? Can you post a pic of it? I have an '05 600RR

I was wondering why they do that to a bike with 2 headlight. I guess because previuosly bike only has one headlight that's why the new bike with 2 headlights(like a car) can only light one headlight. Does anyone know how to turn the light off when u driving it? Or the only way to do it is to cut off the low beam and hit the high beam to make both low and high beam on.

ok not to be mean but apparently you havent played with your bike a lot.. You cant cut the low beam wire and and expect both lights to come on when u hit headlight switch to high beam. U can cut that wire to run with no lights but y. then ull just be runnin on one light anyway when u hit the high beam on.. its the same wattage as ur low beam just angled higher with more reflectors is y they call it a high beam. If you want to make it so it has no lights while driving during the DAY then put an inline switch to the power wire before the headlight switch that way it kicks all the lights off adn then turn your "power switch" on and use your headlights as normal. If u want papiindo use my advice in my other post here and conver it to true high and low beams like a car and if you want put your "power switch" in and have no lights during the day and then kick the switch and use your headlights like a car does like i have mine set up to do...Goodluck with it all
