Default headlights!!!

Does anyone know how to make both headlights work on both low beam and high beam? I know I will need new bulbs but what other changes need to be made? such as a different socket for the high beam light. Any help would be great! Its the best bike out there with the one small fault of that stupid one light crap!

you would need to use dual filament bulbs and have to do some rewiring. but i dont think it would be all that hard to do.

This has been posted so many times on here, I feel ya too man. But...I just got an'06 600rr and didn't like the headlight deal either. Sooo many people have recommended to lower the High Beam light so its level with your low beams using the screw behind the light inside the upper fairing. I was finally able to do this last weekend and it works just fine, just ride with your high beams on all the time! Much simpler and doesn't drain your battery as much as most people think, which is always the common question.

i dont like lowering my high beam. I go on too many long trips at night that i need the distance it gives. so i re did mine. I got new bulbs 50w on the low side and 55 wat on the high side cuz 55wat is the stock wattage. This keeps your new high beams the same brightness as they were before. I got new three terminal sockets ran 2 jumper wires from side to side and wired them in. i had to modify the bulb a little to fit in the stock headlight housing but i got it to work. Works good and now i have true high and low beams like a car take care and good luck

heres an easy way. Just ride with your brights on all the time and dont adjust anything. I have only ever had one person flash their lights at me. OTher than that they stay on and all is good.
