Headlight Adjustment

RE: Headlight Adjustment
you're good here... this way, since you didn't mention it, we know what bike you're talking about. You see them every time you get on the bike. You have big phillips head screws at the top corners for adjusting. I know it's a bad pic.. but here you go.

RE: Headlight Adjustment
I think this is a good place to post this question.
If you look behind the lights in front of the instrument cluster you will see four Allen/bolts head screws two on each side. These are the adjusting screws to aim the lights. The upper inner screws adjust the vertical and the outer lower screws adjust the horizontal.

RE: Headlight Adjustment
Thanks Don and 05Tribal...I am now running with Highs on and both set just below where highs usually would be....I am SO visible and no more "YOU HAVE A LIGHT OUT...or...ONE OF YOUR HEADLIGHTS IS BRIGHTER"\
Safer and like the look...easier than a complete light change out...you gotta love this forum!

RE: Headlight Adjustment
doncollins-
Funny you ask about my riding. I was just thinking how much I've improved riding skills over the past eight months and 3600 miles. I am finally able to feel the suspension compress and keep it compressed in the curves and I am starting to know the sticking limits of my tires. It's amazing how I am progressively getting better and can't wait till next summer for the Keith Code School at Mid-Ohio. I am going to start a new post in the General Section and try to round up the Ohio guys and anyone else who might want to attend Mid-Ohio. Maybe make a whole CBR Forum weekend out of it.
When you are back in Ohio let me know, we'll compare skills.
Oh yea, so I keep this headlight related,
cjbettis- Did you use the wall technique to just adjust the lights?
