what kind of options are there for leg protection besides leather?? Im all about wearin gear, but I think there has to be a compromise. NOT saying that no gear is good, I just don't want to have to bundle up like a 3 year old who's going to wait for the bus in -3 degree weather, with snow boots, long johns, heated socks, 4 shirts, 3 sweaters a scarf backlava touque and parka to go down the street.

Glad you are healing up and your bike too, very sorry to see that.
About gear I always believe less is more. Riding is about freedom, not looking like a Power Ranger.
