A good price, and a few other questions?
I got a friend who is doing some leg work for me some local dealer ships, for a new 07 600rr and after speaking to the Honda sales rep to the dealers for the area he found me a shop/dealer that will get me a great deal on an 07
I also inquired about getting a Jardine SLIP-ON EXHAUST, DUAL OUTLET, CARBON from the same dealer which costs $660 as the MSRP on Jardine's website. They quoted me 690 for the purchase and install on the bike.
Question is that a good deal for the slip on exhaust including install?
An other question is how loud is the stock exhaust? I want to be heard, but I don't want to be obnoxiously loud. My goal for the loudness is cruising at 75 mph creating enough noise that the car in front of me can hear me with the windows up and radio on and on their cell phone.
I was also offered to pick up a blue/silver 600rr for $100 over dealer's cost (had heart set on a Pearl White). Would you settle for a bike of a different color if the price was too good?

not gonna hear you even if you had a Laser extreme exhaust. the sound is directed aftwards, not forwards. anything you hear will be reverb.
better to just know what you're doing and pay attention to your surroundings. exhausts don't save lives. they make otherwise good listeners, deaf. don't count on them seeing you or hearing you. todays cars are built to exclude the outside world. Stay Alert, Stay Alive.
besides, you've got a good vantage point being on a motorcycle. If i were to see something like that, i'd put that 105 HP to good use and the the *** outta there!
