RE: front wheel replacement
yeah, im looking for a 2004 rr. its not really noticeable riding straight on, but i can pick up on it in turns. i hope replacing the wheel will solve the problem.
ok, so if i find a used front wheel on ebay that say's it's 'straight' i can be assured it's straight?
thanks, im starting to look around ebay for a good deal getting ready for spring!

RE: front wheel replacement
just make sure they have a good reputation on ebay. Use PayPal when buying **** as they have buyer protection (so does ebay). Never send money orders or checks to people you don't know or have very little rep points. But if the seller has a good rating and are reputable, ask to see if you can get a cheaper price on the items if you mail them a check instead. When I bought my RR engine from a Shop in VA, I asked that and they said they'd ship it for free and throw in a master cylinder too, saved almost 250 bucks right there. Since they didn't have to deal with the PayPal %. And that's quite a bit for a high priced item like an engine.
You can use 03-06 front rims even though 05-06 forks changed. I'll check around with my sources to see if anyone has a good front rim. I was able to get my front rim with rotors and new tire for 280 shipped (which is a hell of a deal with rotors, only needed the rotors though. :P) Although I do have an extra front rim, but there's a nice sized gash on the lip.
