his bike is an 07 and it has a full fmf exhaust with a power commander im not sure if there are any more mods done to the bike

Full FMF exhaust... he probably doesn't have a catalytic converter and the power commander is probably running a bit rich
(which is not necessarily bad if you don't have a cat, rich kills the cat, and the environment, but lean kills your engine, starting with the piston rings and the exhaust valves)

On a 600RR i'd be worried about having those flaming backfires so close to any potential passengeer's a$$ and all the fumes from running rich tend to linger on the rider when you have an underseat exhaust too


Just some things to consider

does a bike with k&n and slip on run a bit on the richer side or leaner side?
