Default Finally Laid Her Down

[sm=smiley35.gif] Yup it happened ! Laid it down going around a curve probably around 45-60 mph ! I felt the rear tire I guess you can say hop then when it caught the road again SPILL all on the left side of my bike! Thank God I ended up in the grass not the road.

Here is where this great forum comes into play! Need some plactics ! I dont expect hand outs just good prices or any good web sites!! Here are the pics

Looks like your frame sliders worked fairly well. No busted cases!

Funny how you can look at the bike and go, "damn", and then look at the arm and go, "yikes". Hows the elbow?

that's a great way to look at it...or you could've been wearing gear dude...lucky you fell in the grass.

as far as cost...i say send your stuff to empiregp.com and they will fix and repaint like new.

it's all just cosmetic stuff anyway, nothing seems to be really broken.

[sm=sorry.gif] about your ride dude, [sm=hail.gif]-Ebay, newb question, by looking at this i see your frame slider didn't help the front plastic much, is there any instances where it would protect it, maby longer puck? i am seriously thinking about getting them before spring time, i dont ride much in the snow up here. do they protect more at slower drops or a stand still?[sm=feedback.gif]

Money bags (the wife) bought me the bike, and she doesn't like the idea of drilling a 1 3/4" hole in the "prety" plastic, but if i could convince her that it would save megabucks if i droped it maby she'd be cool with it.

I am almost 100% sure that without the frame slider there it would have had alot more damage. Without it it probably would have tore up more plastics and maybe damaged the frame. I think it is worth the little cut in the plastic to get the frame sliders! I sugguest getting a damn good pair of frame sliders the strongest you can get ! Mine weren't the best but you better believe when I get new frame sliders they will be the best just in case this **** happens again.
