Just got a great deal on a used 07 600rr (black). Makes the 599 I traded in feel like a toy...

1. The bike came with PCIII and the unit is located under the passenger seat. Will it get ruined if it ever gets wet or too hot from exhaust?

2. The bike came with Yoshimura exhaust. How do I tell if it is a slip on or full exhaust? It sounds completely bad a$$.

That PC III will be fine. I'm not sure about 07s but on 03 thru 05 slip ons connect to the headers behind the right foot peg. On my full exhaust the muffler connects under the seat. Also look for the spring like fasteners that hold it together at the joints. I'm not sure about Yoshi, but Akra has a couple at every joint. I'm pretty sure slip ons don't have them.

 

check for any logos on the headers and match them with one of the stock bikes...if they dont match its NOT a slip on and if they do match ITS A slip On..
