Man. Don't let that discourage you. I too am 5'7, 135lbs and it is a perfect fit for me. just because it is a little tall when you are standing doesnt mean that it doesnt fit you. the thing that is most important is that it fits well when you are riding. Besides, you wont want to be standing still very much.

probably the only time you will notice how tall the bike is is when you are backing out of a parking spot or driveway. I'm about 5'8" and rarely use both feet when standing still. I tend to lean on my left foot while keeping the right on the rear brake.

you can adjust rear preload to get it lower...but 1 foot on the ground is all you need

What amazes me is the difference between wearing my Icon Motor head boots or my Alpinestars SMX boots when it comes to being able to touch my feet down. What is really weird is when I wear my Alpine Stars leather pants with the SMX boots it seems as if my inseam shrinks by an inch and I am 5'7" and 180. I can still manage to keep the bike up but not near as easy as when I wear jeans and my Icon boots. I hope once the leather pants are broken in it won't be so bad.
