Hey Everyone well i am debating and contemplating on a new Exhaust but i am not too sure what I want I have narrowed it down to two Exhaust one is the Twobrothers carbon V.A.L.E. exhaust and the other is Jardine Dual outlet slip on exhaust. I have a 2007 CBR600RR White let me know what you guys think or sugest.

 

I have the carbon scorpion. and i had a aluminum 2bros. the scorpion pipes are claimed to be set for use with stock fuel map. I didnt notice any difference when i switched to it from the 2bros. with the stock map also.

 

i just got the carbon fiber yosh rs5 on mine and i love it. sounds awesome, real deep yet in the rpms its loud!!! love the look of it too.

 

I don't think they make them for your 07
but I got my Termignoni for my 03 for 240 shipped.

I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaay happy with it. I figured I'd give it a shot and people really raved about the sound and the install was pretty easy, (BRING 6 PACK WHILE INSTALLING )

brother had an akra on his 07 r6 and i didnt like the looks of it or the sound. i think my stock pipe on my rr was louder. im not about performance, im not going to race my bike at a track so performance is out the door for me. akra might be awesome at that but its not anything i was interested in.

 

Are you looking for performance or sound?

 

well from everything I have seen and read at this point, a slip-on is just as good as a full exhaust system at this point in time because pretty much all factories are producing good to really good headers. The reason more people are going with full systems is now because of the weight issue, obviously a full system is going to weigh less than factory. With that being said going from a stock 07600RR exhast to say a Yosh slip on will save you roughly 14lbs or so a huge diffference in itself, and switching to a full system will save you 18lbs or so. That is a lot of weight espcially when ounces make a huge difference on the track. Even adding a slip-on will gain you about 7 ponies when paired with a PC3. A full yosh system will also run about $500 more, but the weight difference once again is pretty critical. If you realize a 07 600 weighs in around 345 pounds (I think dont quote me on this) dry, and you are talking about dropping 20 pounds, that HUGE.

Basically its what you want to hear, spend, and what you want go get out of the bike
