Does it matter what grade of gasoline you use for your bike?

All i know is higher octanes run at cooler temperatures, some bike say on the tank nothing lower then like 91oct.

Shyt, I run 87. It gets the job done and factory recommends 86. Why spend the xtra money if I don't have too. Probably once my bike gets some age on'er I start creepin' up in octane.

I commute to work on my bike so I fill up like every 2-3 days and I'm not doing 100+ everytime I ride.
