If you rode a suzuki canoftuna (katana) , and only for three months.Would you feel that you were ready for a honda 1000RR. One of my members of my riding club is crazy right? www.ghostryderz.com

Big believer in learning to crawl before walking but 2 wheels is 2 wheels. Just the same he'll need some guidance.

RE: dead or more dead?
My friend knows this guy that bought an 06 R1. This guy drove it around a few miles and scared himself sh*tless and turned around and sold it for $8000. Perfect condition, maybe except for the funk smell comming from the seat
Someone might score big on a 1000RR when this guy finds out that it acts just a little different than a can-o-tuna!

RE: dead or more dead?
It all depends on the person i was told by numerous people i would die in the first month of riding it. They Literally thought i would kill myself Buying a new 600RR for MY first street bike. I had ridden my dads SV650 and honda 919 prior with years of off-road expiernce (two and 4wheels). I'm still kickin (knocks on wood).
I honestly think unless they take it real easy that you have to lay the bike down to respect it(or have a close call). So hopefully his first lesson won't end up with extensive hospital bills. Good luck to your buddy.
