looks great! I guess the oem pieces were templates? what do you use to make your molds?!

sth like that, I used the oem as templates to make the molds but I modified them to get the results I wanted. Instead of having 7 OEM pieces for front, sides and belly now I have2. Same goes for tail,combined the main tail unit with the two knee sides, and the tank withthe air pipe covers.I used fiberglass both for molds and plugs.

It's been a while since the last time I visited....cause I carried away working with composites and making fiberglass and carbon parts for friends (since they saw my homemade bodykit) so updating few pics of the things I made during previous months

wow, you've gone through a lot! Great job and good looking bike!

Nice CF pieces too. That windscreen is just gorgeous.

You should invite me over and make some lunch. You could tell me all the secrets of fiberglass. Then maybe load me up with materials and gimme a couple hundred dollars and send me on my way. Lol ! Would be nice. I've been threatening to make my own fairings out of fiberglass for about a year now, I'm just not that ambitious. I think I'm afraid of spending 500 bucks and 6 months just to make some garbage that I would force myself to like and none of my friends would have the heart to tell me I was riding a home made "****e pile". I'd love to talk about it sometime with you if you have time. I'm in SC if that's anywhere near you.
