I'm a Pilot Power guy, have never tried another tire and I have no need to. All the research I have done and info from guys on here I am convinced that the PP is the best tire for my application, and I've never once felt a slip on wet pavement.
Try using the search option above. There is 100+ tire threads on here, and your probably gonna get bashed for starting another one.
For example, see this thread:

And make sure you read post #23...any more tire questions?!? lol

Pilot Powers and Diablo 3s:
Depends on your riding style and preferences? The Diablo3s are more comparable to the PP CT2s then the regular PPs.
Diablo 3swill handle pretty much anything you throw at thembut theywear fast. Makes for a nice track day tire or a Very aggressive canyon carver tire. The PP are great tires from the reviews i've read and seen. They don't wear unbelieveably(sp) fast and provide great traction in both wet and dry weather on the street. They make for a nice allaroundstreet tire with plenty of traction.
I personally ride pretty hard in the mountains, don't ride in the rain, andhave planned a few track days soonso I have chosen to go with the Diablo 3s for my next set.
I see it in this light for myself:
Pilot Powers ~ Great All around Street Use / Good Tread Life
Pilot Powers CT2 ~ Aggressive Street Use / Track day /Fast CenterFlatSpot / Moderate Side Wear
Diablo 3's ~ Very Aggressive Street Use / Track Day /Moderate - FastCenter Flat Spot / Moderate-Fast Side Wear

i loved my pp2ct's before they were slashed w/ less then 700mi on them..urghhh..but anyways crash your little comparison doesnt make sense when it comes to the 2ct's the side are softer then the center. the center is the same compound that is in the PP's. i know nothing about the corsa III.. i never had my 2ct's on the track but all the way down highway one, i pushed them as hard as im capable and they never did anything trickey, even when they werent scrubbed in..they are definitly the best tires i have ridden on
Understand guys. The softer compound is on the sides. What I'm talking about is highway riding(straights) creating flat spots. As for the PP and CT2s having the same center compound I can't agree or disagree [&:].
