Cooling System.
Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me with changing the coolant on my 03 cbr600rr. I've only had it a few weeks and bought it a a crashed bike. Anyway I'm replacing a hose and need to know if there is any special systems or bleeding points. Most bikes I have had in the past had an air bleed point some were but I can't see anything that stands out as a bleeder.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is a drain plug at the bottom of the water pump housing(the largest one) it's on the right side of the bike and you should use a mixture of 50/50 antifreeze and distiled water
you'll have to remove upper, middle and lower cowls

Thanks for the reply raptor. Getting the fluid out is fine. I'm just worried about air getting trapped in the system hence the question about a bleed point. Or do you just fill it from the highest point and run it until the thermostat opens?
As for the body work. All of that was removed by the last guy as he threw it down the road. Out of all the body work, the RHs middle is the only panel not in the rubbish bin.

Yeah I'm just south of Melbourne Australia on the coast. By the look of it most of the members are from the US. I only found the forum a few days ago and have been looking around. But didn't join until tonight.
I lived in Park St St kilda for a while and thenPrahran before comming to Geelong for a woman.
Yeah still got the Aprilia RS250 it's a totally impractical bike for the road but oh so much fun. and I love it at Phillip Island. I've spent the last few years setting it up mainly for the track and have got a little stale and uninterested in riding it but wont sell it.
Hopefully this new bike will get me all fired up again.
