Default Complete stupidity

Alright i was putting my new air filter on my bike and i dropped a washer down in the air box. Luckily it didnt go down one of the air funnels. Its lodged down on the left side between the furthest left air funnel and side of the air box. I could not get that thing out for the life of me. Question: what are the chances this thing is gonna jump up through the course of riding and go down one of these funnels?

Have you tried using one of those flexible rods with a magnet on the end(i dont know the actually name of them sorry). They sell them at most autoparts stores for situations just like yours.

If you have it that far apart just take out the 6 screws that hold the air tubes and the box on and get it out the odds are good that it can go down the tubes I say, the suction, the vibration the buming can bounce it around very easily. the whole box is very easy to take out just move the tank and unscrew the top of the box and slide it to the side you =can even get this thing out without unhooking any of the gas lines I'd stay on the safe side

yo mang...it will go down. try the magnet, if that doesn't work, pull off the air box. the washer will be hanging out on top of the butterfly valve.

if you can see it you should be able to get it with a ser of mechanical fingers its like a rod with a push button on the handle with 4 small fingers on the tip of the flexible rod. also sold at most auto parts stores, i would get that thing out before i even start you bike again, better to be safe than sorry.
