Hi,

The clutch on my 05 CBR has pretty late engagement. I prefer riding half clutch when riding in traffic and find it difficult. Is there a way i can change the setting to make it engage early ?

Are there any drawbacks of this ?

 

yeah, adjust the clutch cable from the lever first. if that doesn't work, go down to the clutch itself and adjust it.

 

and there are no "drawbacks" i'm fairly positive that it's just not adjusted properly. you aren't going to harm anything from adjusting it. as long as it fully DISengages, you should be fine.
