1 month in total, I guess, I had my last CBR for 3 weeks had it stolen waited 3 months for a new one had this one for 2 weeks but been away for work for a week.

I use the clutch alot in when I commute to work. I never just dump the clutch always just let it out progressively.

No one dumps the clutch from a stand still. You let it slip (or let it out progressively) to control the power to the rear wheel. that's it's design.

ah. I see.

Now I know what slipping the clutch mean. what I was doing all along. Then what is blipping the throttle? I hear people do it on down shift.

blipping the throttle means to give a quick twist of the throttle. People do this downshifting to help match engine speed with road speed so it's smoother.

usually slipping the clutch is used when your clutching up a wheelie.... letting out the clutch slowly when you take off is normal operation of the machine... if you didnt do that, youd probably kill it or get a good strong lurch when you took off :S
