Default Chrome swing arm

I just got my first bike 03 600RR, and it has a chrome swing arm. I was told by one person, that its a cheap replica that the previous owner put on because he probably droped it and damaged the oem one, and than I was told by another person that its an aftermarket wheely swing arm, much more stable? Im very confused, I already bought an OEM that I was going to replace it with, but at this point not sure what I should do.

Here's a picture of the chrome one on the bike.

Havent the slightest idea man...
Polish that up... and sell it to someone lookin for a show bike? put the oem bak on.
If it is aftermarket, im sure oem is ALOT better than a show looking aftermarket one...

looks stock but dipped... IDK though...

Chrome is for show bikes or cars and harleys. Put the OEM brushed swing arm back on and use the bike. But that is my opinion. You really can’t tell much about after market mods unless you know the brand and their reputation.
