Default Can a Motorcycle tire be patched up?

My bike is brand new, and I was taking it around the city, and the next morning I go to my garage and I have a flat on the rear tire! The bike only has less than 220 miles on it! so here is the question, can I get that tire patched up like a car tire?

This is on a patched Dunlop:

This is on a patched Michelin (probably hitting 130ish):

Make sure you find a shop you can trust, because a major dealership will refuse to patch the tire and try to sell you a new one, and ask the shop where you take the wheel to use an umbrella plug (not that gummy worm like they use on cage tires).

i know the majority of the shops in my area wont do it. think about it.......

something that goes in excess of 150 m.p.h. these is nothign between you and the road. just save yourself the threat that might be there and get a new tire. i had a road attack on my F4i with 900 miles that got a hole and i ended up throwing that away, but of course i got the exact same thing.
