Buying a 600RR Tuesday
Hello guys, i'm new here and just completed my BRC class and got my M license. I am now looking to get a 600RR and found one on craigslist. Its a 2004 Black/Silver 600RR with 12k miles. He is asking 5250 for it, but I think i'm going to offer $4k, $4.5k tops. Is this reasonable??

RE: Buying a 600RR Tuesday
sounds ok,. not phenominal deal but its ok
i however would not recomend you buy an rr as a first bike. check out a 2001 or 2002 f4i or something smaller than a 6 first.... these bikes are very very unforgiving. rr is very aggressive and is NOT a begginer bike.

RE: Buying a 600RR Tuesday
redcbr~ it can be done, but it is still not a beginner bike. its too aggressive to me and to alot of people i would not go back and get an rr over my old suzuki gs 500f for a million dollars cuz i would prob be dead. you mature alot over your first year of riding, plus who wants to go down on thier brand new rr?? cuz you will go down..
there are riders who have gone down and riders who are going down. nothing else
